What does a virtual film festival mean?

The BCMFF World Tour is being held virtually by the Banff Centre for 2020. Content is organized into three programs and will be available for viewing online.

What if I already bought a ticket for the March screening?

All ticket holders will be receiving a complimentary link via email to watch the programs. Please check your email account you used to purchase the tickets.

Are the films going to be the same for each program?

Each program will have different films being screened. Check on the films page to see the three different programs.

How long is the whole program?

Typically any given program will last between two-and-a-half and three hours. This is made up of 5 – 8 short films, between 5 minutes and 50 minutes long, with an intermission half way through.

Why are the ticket sold in USD instead of CAD?

The Banff Centre’s provider could only handle transactions in USD, tickets are sold and processed by the Banff Centre.

Do Alpine Club Members get a discount?

Typically yes! Due to COVID this year we will not be offering a member discount at the door since the event is being held virtually.
